Voices for Children / Event Branding

Branding for a fundraising event can be a designer’s dream! There are so many opportunities to carry the visual aesthetic across all the materials — from the invitation, landing page and ads to day-of signage, Instagram ready backdrops and the program. It calls for careful planning and smart concepting from the get go. There are many elements to consider: the event logo, color and typography decisions, pattern design, graphic elements, and photographic treatment, for example.

The creative brief for Voices for Children’s Starry Starry Night gala called for a classic Spanish theme that looked updated, elegant, ornate and festive. Our inspiration came from decorative Spanish tiles and embroidery, the night sky, and fuchsia bougainvillea at the luxe ranch resort where the event was held.

The client, their board of directors, and event guests were thrilled with our designs. The best result? The event raised over $1,000,000 to help train VFC’s court appointed court advocates who speak out for children in foster homes.
